You’ve probably heard the term “gear up” before, so why is Liberty Sport asking everyone to Gear Up? This summer, we are proud to start our Gear Up Campaign. Gear Up emphasizes the need for Sports Protective Eyewear in almost any sport, regardless of other protective equipment, such as helmets. In our continuing effort to develop new technology, we perfected our Helmet Spex, our first helmet specific goggle designed for comfort, performance and ultimate protection.

Helmet Spex were designed after a common complaint from kids that goggles were too uncomfortable under their helmets. Parents have often figured that a face mask of a helmet would protect their kid’s eyes, but this isn’t exactly true. While sports helmets with face masks may keep large objects away from the face and eyes, it is still possible for fingers, elbows or smaller sports equipment to penetrate the mask and do severe damage to the face and eyes.

We worked hard with many gear testers to perfect Helmet Spex for maximum comfort in any and all sports. For comfort, the strap contours around the ear, and soft rubber end pieces mold to the face and offer additional cushioning. To help prevent fogging, specially designed vents have been placed near the lens of the goggle.

For those active youth that participate in many sports that included helmeted and non-helmeted, we have developed Sport Shift. With it’s unique interchangeable temple and strap, this protective frame can be used in multiple sports, diminishing the need for parents to buy multiple sports protective frames for their children.
